For us, the first days of winter have a special meaning since we’ve taken our marriage vows on December 7th. So, we’ve decided that each year we do something special on our wedding anniversary that we can remember for a lifetime.

On 2013, we were fortunate enough to make one of our dreams come true: visit the exotic Maldives islands.

I have to say, Maldives during wintertime is the loveliest and most amazing escape from the bitter cold winter temperatures back into summertime. We’ve eagerly packed our bags and grabbed our flight tickets for the most amazing wedding anniversary of our life.

We’ve spent 7 amazing days in Maldives at the all-inclusive Prestige Ocean Villa room at the Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi Hotel relaxing, swimming in the clear water and walking on the white sand beaches.

There’s no better way to experience Maldives than an ocean villa that comes with top facilities and luxurious services in this tropical paradise. Our dream 1 year anniversary getaway couldn’t have been any better than this.

The amazing view of the Indian Ocean and the ability to get up early in the morning from the comfy king size bed and get your feet into the perfect temperature water is a divine blessing.

We were mostly impressed with the hotel services, as well as with the contemporary and modern design of the villa, so thumbs up for Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi Hotel.

Needless to say, the 7 days went by so fast with so many things to see and do, all the fun water activities, from snorkeling to canoeing.We were happy to share them together in this once in a lifetime experience, celebrating a very important event in our lives.
