We have had some hot summer days this year while it’s been great I needed some place to cool down and what better than the Icebar in London. I was invited to Icebar London few weeks ago to experience the bar and enjoy some drinks. Icebar is located in Heddon Street Food Quarter just off Regent street, in addition to the extreme cold room experience there is a warm cocktail bar and restaurant.The inside of the Icebar is made of specially harvested crystal clear ice from the Torne River found in Northern Sweden.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a 40 minute session at the Icebar, we were given a cape and gloves to keep ourselves warm. It was an absolutely magical experience with beautiful ice sculptures. The bar truck, tables, chairs and even the glass in which drinks were served was made out of ice. We were given 2 cocktails each by the amazing staff at Icebar who really looked after us. I had the branch off which was made of Absolut Blue Vodka, Passoa, Passion Fruit Puree, Lychee Juice, Lemon Juice. My husband had the Mojito made of Havana Club Añejo 3 yo Rum, Soda Water, Lime Juice, Mint Infused Syrup, Sugar Syrup.

After the 40 minute session, we are enjoyed some nibbles and drinks at the warm bar outside. I would suggest all of you to check out Icebar it’s one of a kind experience I thoroughly enjoyed the experienced, it’s well worth the money. The standard ticket starts from £13.50 when booked in advance from Sunday to Thursday and also includes a spirit based drink with cape and gloves. Check out Icebar website more information.
