The luxury fragrance worth investing his Winter

Spirit of Dubai

Winter is coming. You’ve probably heard that before except that for us in the UK, winter has already begun in November. It’s time to ditch lighter attires for heavier ones for protection against the weather. But there is another reason to be excited about; winter brings the opportunity to wear the most stylish jacket, the favourite pair of warm boots, and your favourite scarf as well. I for one at least get excited about the prospect of being able to dress in coats and jackets I wait all year to wear.

Change of season also signals for an update in the wardrobe if you require one. While all of us keep up with the styles and trends, there are some things we are a little more reluctant to give up. Speaking for myself, I’m a little reluctant to try out new fragrances and try sticking with tested and true ones that have become a part of who I am. It is the same with many other people as well, yet it doesn’t hurt to try out something new now and then. Who knows, you might even be pleasantly surprised with the results.

For those of you looking for an update to your scents and fragrances, I recommend ‘The Spirit of Dubai’ Perfumes. A venture of Nabeel Perfumes, founded in 1969, who have decided to bottle the signature elements of the city of Dubai into their range of ultra-luxury fragrances under the brand name ‘The Spirit of Dubai’. The brand presents customers with two collections.

The First Generation

The first-generation collection consists of seven fragrances, each representing a defining aspect that it was decisive in making the city of Dubai what it is today.

The brand is making headlines even in London and has been nominated for the luxury packaging awards for more than a couple of its products in the past. If you’re looking to me for recommendations, I’d say visit their store and check out each fragrance for yourself. What aromas appeal to the senses of one wouldn’t necessarily have the same effect on another person as well. However, the Dubai Oud, and Dubai Abraj from the first generation and the Haibah and Narjesi from the second generation particularly caught my eye.

A word about choosing perfumes for winter is to focus on heavier scents for base notes as that is the part that lingers while the top and middle notes eventually fade away. Choose base scents that you’d enjoy having on your skin for hours and go for something, spicy, woody, floral or a combination of them.
