First off, when we think minimal, we’re thinking colours or non-colours for the matter, because minimalism is all about keeping it clean, simple and with little to no colour tones. This is why, the minimal fashion trend is heavily focus on white and black tone looks. All white outfits are 100% minimal, while greys, beige and classy denim tones are enough splashes of colours for this trend. In this sense, the first step in wearing the minimal trend is to focus on creating monotone white looks with little to no colours added. Nothing flashy or strong in term of tones.
In terms of lines and design, the minimal trend is all about straight lines, highly-geometrical figures and pieces with a lot of minimal structure and sharp edges. Its’ somewhat futuristic looking with a decent amount of elegant and sophistication in terms of the overall feel. So, if you want to dress minimal, focus on well-structured cut pieces, with a lot of geometry and straight lines.
Last but not least, the minimal trend is all about little to no accessories.Due to the fact that the minimal trend is mostly focused on the utility aspect of fashion, you’ll need solely an oversized monotone clutch bag and a pair of black glasses if needed as accessories, leaving jewellery or other accessories, as well as heavy makeup to minimum. The bottom line of the minimal trend is to focus on utility to create a neat, simple and basic fashion look.

I always think I’m too minimal. Here’s me worrying I don’t use enough accessories. I can also be way too monochromatic . I need to also work on my colour mixing. Thank you for hosting
