Neutral or Dark Prints for Newbies
If you’re kind of new to wearing prints and find it a personal challenge to look like you got it going on, there are some prints that will help you out. Instead of bold light colored prints that catch everyone’s eye from a mile away, go for neutral or dark prints that aren’t that bold and striking. If you already know the drill in wearing fashion prints, my advice to you is to go for maximum two prints at the same time, and also, make sure they somewhat come from the same “movie”, meaning they aren’t too contrasting.
Tops or Bottoms Prints
The next question in your mind probably is whether to try printed tops or printed bottoms first? Well, either way, make sure it’s either one or the other. A casual denim shirt goes amazing with a floral print bottom. if you want to wear that gorgeous maxi print skirt, then try a simple one tone top for a clean looking outfit.
Add Neutral Tones for Grounding
Last but not least, especially with bold prints, try combining it with some neutral tone clothing just to make sure you’re doing it right. Adding neutral tones clothes is your safety line for not going overboard when wearing fashion prints.
If there’s something you need to keep into always wear fashion prints like a pro, it’s this one thing: a little goes a long way, so stay away from a print combination that makes you feel uncomfortable. Fashion is to flatter your physic and personality, not make you feel even less confident with yourself. So, you know you’re doing it right if you feel comfortable wearing it nonetheless.
