Ascot is one of the most prestigious races around the world. People come to watch races especially during royal meeting from every corner of the world. It’s an extraordinary display of the sport and british culture. I would have loved to go to races during royal Ascot but I had some prior commitments that I wasn’t able to pull out of and hence I went to see the Summer mile with my husband. I am so grateful to Precis Petite and Jacques Vert group to dress me up. For the races, I chose this printed dress and short jacket from Precis Petite and this beautiful fascinator by Rachel Trevor Morgan for Jacques Vert. I completed the look with black heels and black clutch bag.
This is my second occasion wearing a fascinator. I am a huge fan of hats and fascinator. I love how Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wears fascinators oozing elegance and class.Being petite you might think hats and fascinators can overwhelm your petite frame, however if you choose the right pattern it gives you an illusion of height making you look taller. Make sure you select the right size for your height.
If you are looking for petite elegant dresses for any occasion I would suggest, checking Precis Petite and Jacques Vert.
Have you guys been to any sporting event this year? What did you wear I would love to see your outfits do be sure to share it with me.Hope you guys like today’s post, please feel free to ask any question and I will try to help you out.

3 Ways To Wear Leather Jacket & Classy Monday LinkUp

3 ways to wear leather jacket

3 ways to wear leather jacket

Leather jackets are stylish and classic, it’s a wardrobe staple item. Petite celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker and Ariana Grande have been sporting this wardrobe staple inspiring us petites to wear this trend. While these celebs have nailed the leather jacket look there is always the possibility of wearing the leather jacket in a way that does not compliment the petite frame.

In this post I am showing three different ways you can wear the leather jacket being petite.

Look 1

Wear it with a dress. For a smart look, I suggest you wear the leather jacket with a short shift dress. This is a versatile look which you can wear at work or go for drinks after work. Be sure to pair this outfit with heels.

Look 2

For a casual look wear leather jacket with boyfriend jeans and a plain t-shirt. A leather jacket has the ability to transform any outfit and is perfect for a casual look.

Short skirt and leather jacket goes well with each other. You can achieve a sassy look by adding heels to this entire look. Finish the look with a pair of tights in winter months.

We have had some hot summer days this year while it’s been great I needed some place to cool down and what better than the Icebar in London. I was invited to Icebar London few weeks ago to experience the bar and enjoy some drinks. Icebar is located in Heddon Street Food Quarter just off Regent street, in addition to the extreme cold room experience there is a warm cocktail bar and restaurant. The inside of the Icebar is made of specially harvested crystal clear ice from the Torne River found in Northern Sweden.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a 40 minute session at the Icebar, we were given a cape and gloves to keep ourselves warm. It was an absolutely magical experience with beautiful ice sculptures. The bar truck, tables, chairs and even the glass in which drinks were served was made out of ice. We were given 2 cocktails each by the amazing staff at Icebar who really looked after us. I had the branch off which was made of Absolut Blue Vodka, Passoa, Passion Fruit Puree, Lychee Juice, Lemon Juice. My husband had the Mojito made of Havana Club Añejo 3 yo Rum, Soda Water, Lime Juice, Mint Infused Syrup, Sugar Syrup.

After the 40 minute session, we are enjoyed some nibbles and drinks at the warm bar outside. I would suggest all of you to check out Icebar it’s one of a kind experience I thoroughly enjoyed the experienced, it’s well worth the money. The standard ticket starts from £13.50 when booked in advance from Sunday to Thursday and also includes a spirit based drink with cape and gloves. Check out Icebar website more information.
