Fashion editors have a sixth sense of styling and putting together ingenious outfits, no doubt about it. This is why, fashion editors are such a great inspiration for all of us when it comes to new hot trends, but also to reinvent our own fashion sense, by using some simple tricks and ideas. This means that you don’t have to buy an entirely new wardrobe and do something extraordinary to have a more acute fashion sense, but steal some tricks from these fashion gurus. Amongst all the ideas that have inspired us from fashion editors, here are 3 simple tricks that you can start applying to your own fashion style right away.
Rolling Up Your Jeans
We are talking about ripped boyfriend style jeans or a pair of skinny jeans that look amazing on you, a simple trick from fashion gurus that will add more style to your look is really simple, all you have to do is roll them up in 3 folds and you’re good to go. Wear them with snickers or stilettos and you’ll look like a fashion editor like that. Easy peasy!
Tucking the Shirt In
Another trick that most fashion editors have taught us is ways to tuck in your shirt and add some new flavor to the outfit. There are a few different ways to tuck your shirt it, one of them is called the editor shirt tuck, and all you have to do is tuck in just the side that lays underneath the button panel inside your pants. At the same time you can go for the frat tuck, by tucking in both sides in from the front and leaving the back part out. Simple as that!
The Jacket on the Shoulders Move
Last but not least, leaving the jacket to hang on both your shoulders is a simple and chic trick you can “borrow” from fashion editors. Stay cool and classy, and never downsize on style by wearing your jacket like this.
These are simple 3 tricks to steal from fashion editors that will definitely make you look like one!

I use all three of those tricks often! I’m also a big fan of the third piece rule.
